DiveLook helps you see a choice from different sides before you decide, with its own purpose-built AI engines. Your privacy comes first: personal details are removed before your question reaches an AI, and we never save questions or answers.
What happens to your question
Personal details are removed first. Before your question leaves our server, we automatically replace names, email addresses, phone numbers, personal ID numbers, card and bank numbers, street addresses and links with placeholders. The AI services never see them; we put them back into your answer.
DiveLook's own AI Viewpoint Engines write the viewpoints on OpenAI (USA) language models. OpenAI may keep questions for up to 30 days to check for abuse. With an account, each question also carries a one-way code for your account, never your email or name, so OpenAI can stop one person's misuse without blocking DiveLook for everyone.
TypeSafe AI (USA) checks questions and answers for safety and suggests a topic angle while you type.
Both work for us under data processing agreements with EU standard contractual clauses.
The free Assignment Planner treats the brief and marking criteria you paste the same way: personal details are removed, OpenAI models write the outline, TypeSafe AI checks it for safety, and nothing is saved. Tavily runs the web searches of the Live web check, only when you turn it on and your question needs current facts. It receives short search words or a website name, never your full question, under the same kind of agreement.
Cloudflare (USA) delivers DiveLook and protects it from attacks and abuse: every visit passes through its network, which sees your IP address and basic browser details and only forwards your questions. It also runs a quick check that you are a person when you sign in, create an account or reset your password. It works under the same kind of agreement.

Still, don't type private details. No automatic filter catches everything (for example nicknames, health information or passwords), so describe your situation in general words.
Answers are AI ideas, not professional advice. Check medical, legal, money and other important decisions with a qualified person.

Harmful, illegal or abusive requests are blocked automatically.
DiveLook is not for sexual content: questions mainly about sex, and sexual health matters for a doctor or counsellor, get a short note instead of an answer.
Cookies and storage
No advertising, no tracking, no analytics. We only keep what DiveLook needs to work:
one cookie that remembers this choice (1 year), and Cloudflare's short-lived security cookies, which help tell people from bots;
your chosen intelligence level, saved in your browser;
the day you last saw a short feedback question, saved in your browser;
a few choices, only if you use them: Web check, Auto-scroll, a hidden example and the last My Account tab, saved in your browser;
without an account, the question you are typing, for up to 30 minutes, saved in your browser and never sent until you ask it;
your sign-in, only if you create an account (Supabase).
Optional feedback. Now and then we ask one short question about an answer. If you tap a reply, we keep only that score with the topic, level and a few labels about how the answer was made, for 12 months: never your question, the answer or anything that shows who you are.
If you upgrade to Pro, it is sold through Link, Stripe's payment service, which handles the payment and tax on its own secure page.

What you can count on
Your privacy comes first. Personal details such as names, emails and phone numbers are hidden before any AI sees your question, and DiveLook saves nothing afterwards.
Safety checks before and after. Your question and the answer are both checked. Harmful requests are stopped, and anyone who may be in crisis is shown where to find help.
